I'll refer to the web-based tools for online authoring, communication and collaboration collectively as facilities.
A few important applications currently available are:
- 0sEd
(for editing content in What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get HTML editor; with tabs for typing in हिन्दी (via Google indic transliteration) and pages containing mathematical expressions/equations)
- 0sPlots
(a function plotter which lets you put 3 things on one plot; can plot derivative and definite integral also)
- 0sFM
(a web-based filemanager for your workspace with plenty of convenient features to help you keep your workspace tidy; the window splits into 2 panes showing independently navigable directory trees; works in horizontal or verticle split mode)
- 0sNotes
(an annotation tool which lets you annotate some content and take notes corresponding to each annotation; lets you pull content into content pane by specifying a URL or by selecting an open 0space window or by browsing and selecting an available resouce (e.g., a page from an NCERT textbook put in 0space))
- 0sILE
(it is a virtual campus where educators and learners can engage in online courses)
The site has a powerful email-like private messaging system for internal communication. For collaboration, you can create groups, use blogs, public or group-level forums.
Some of the tools will be available to guests (anonymous visitors), some will be available only to 0space members. [Memberships is via free self registration.]
[We are yet to come up with Term of Use and policies related to content.]
